About

Jeff Foo is a veteran with more than forty years of real estate experiences. He has served as President of the Institute of Estate Agents (IEA), Singapore and Chairman of many committees. He is also into training and coaching to more than 3000 real estate agents. He frequently gets invites by ASEAN countries to speak at their events. He was also a Keynote Speaker at the 57th FIABCI World Congress in Bangkok.

For IEA, he also serves as Chairman on the International Affairs Committee and has traveled to many countries for business, relationship and work. He runs his own real estate company with his wife and son. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese. He also speaks several dialects. He hopes to be able to help estate agents thrive in the international real estate arena and bringing together global real estate players.

Jeff has recently been appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors for NAR, as well as a Director for Global Alliances and Business. He is also a faculty member of the National Association of REALTORS, Certified International Property Specialist(CIPS) Advisory Committee.

He has appeared as Expert Witness for Court Hearings for cases related to real estate practices in Singapore. He had taught international courses like the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Course in Malaysia, Cambodia and Singapore.

Jeff has played an active and pivotal role in the real estate industry and is well respected among his peers and the industry’s elite. He continues to attend seminars and presented talks on real estate related issues both locally and overseas. He was one of the Distinguished Speaker at the 57th FIABCI World Congress held in Bangkok in 2006. He spoke at the NAR Convention & Expo in Florida in 2012 and again in San Francisco in 2013. He has also spoken in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, India, Europe and Muscat, Oman.

In Singapore, he was in the Board of Examiners for the Certified Estate Agents (CEA) Course from 2008 to 2010 which was recognized by the Ministry as an approved courses for estate agents before new regulatory framework in 2010.

Abroad, he takes the opportunity to continue to upgrade himself. He attended the Real Estate Advance Programme / Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Course conducted in Malaysia. He also attended the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC) in Bali and is the only TRC designee in Singapore. He also attended the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Course as well as the CCIM Cl: 101 Module 1 in Singapore.

In year 2010, he joined the CIPS Instructor fraternity as a Certified International Property Specialists (CIPS) Instructor.  He was an instructor for the Real Estate Advance Practices (REAP) Certified Residential Specialists (CRS) in 2009. He was awarded the 2013 International Realtor of the Year by NAR.

He continues to promote interaction among realtors sharing views on real estate related issues and on how changes can help improve the profession in the estate agents’ sector. These days, he gets invitation to speak at the events of the numerous licensed agencies and oversea organizations on a regular basis.

His previous achievement for the Institute of Estate Agents, Singapore (IEA) was organizing the first Asia Pacific Real Estate Convention & Expo (APRECE) 2013 in Singapore. Over 600 real estate professionals attended the 4-day event with participation from over 15 countries in the Asia Pacific & beyond.
