CONNECTING MEMBERS TO THE WORLD
The Illinois Housing Development Authority’s (IHDA) Illinois Building Blocks Pilot Program aims to address the economic, public safety and quality of life issues caused by abandoned and foreclosed properties in the following six municipalities within south and west Cook County: Berwyn, Chicago Heights, Maywood, Park Forest, Riverdale and South Holland.
IHDA will work with municipalities and select developers to rehabilitate and sell 15 single-family REO properties in each community, with the exception of Riverdale.
IHDA is seeking proposals from Illinois licensed real estate marketing firms interested in providing real estate sales and marketing services to represent developers in terms of actively marketing the properties for sale or lease. Firm(s) selected will work directly with developers on a contract basis. Firms can apply for more than one community and will be evaluated separately for each.
