Hotels transforming to workspace during coronavirus era

The coronavirus have hit the hospitality industry the hardest. All over the world, travel restrictions have grounded people from traveling. And in many instants, governments have forced hotels to shut down entirely.

Hotels are now pitching to the quarantined office workers

With occupancy rates below 10 percent in many parts of the world, hoteliers are doing what they can to sell rooms to it’s local base. 

The idea of transforming unused hotel rooms into makeshift offices during the day is catching on. This allows customers to leave home and have an organized place to work. 

The Godfrey Hotel, Kimpton Gray Hotel, and Red Roof Inn are among the properties offering day rates to those who are sick of working from home.
