Store closures planned for the city of Chicago among the big box

Costco South Loop is among many businesses closing in anticipation of more looting and damages. Seven Targets are now closed: The Hyde Park, McKinley Park, South Loop, State Street, Streeterville, Wilson Yard and West Loop. Best Buy is apparently planning on closing all of its stores in the city limits.

The zone has been established for strict enforcement, using salt trucks to block main arteries into the zone. CTA service is suspended in this zone. Bridges over the Chicago River are all raised. Lake Shore Drive will likely close. Don't be surprised if there is disruption to the area expressways.

Zone Boundaries are Division St on the north. Then south on Halsted to Milwaukee and Grand. Then southeast on Milwaukee to Kinzie. Kinzie to Canal. Canal south to 26th Street, then to the lake.
