Cambodia Malls has a new opportunity in special economic zone Poipet. A wholesale franchise centre with 300,000 consumers a day in the area! Reserve your space now! The development has an authorised capital of 20 million Cambodian riel, and is only 5m from the Ban Khlong Luk border with great access along a main road. There will be more than 200 shops and a spacious area for events and activities.

The mall will spread across 10,800 SQM of outdoors shopping space, with the delivery of construction schedule for February 2021, with plenty of parking space. The mall is designed for efficient consumer flow, being divided into four shopping zones – the food and beverage, franchise and business opportunity, fashion and textile, and consumer products zones.

With around 200 stores available, they are split between the options below:

  • Big Room (6x6m) – 10 units
  • Angle Room (4x6m) – 84 units
  • Standard Room (4x6m) – 108 units

The location has a lot of potential. Krong Poi Pet is a city in Banteay Meanchey Province in western Cambodia that borders Thailand. It’s the main land crossing and transport hub for travel between the cities of Siem Reap and Bangkok. Poipet is a special zone in Cambodia that hosts the main border crossing with Sa Kaeo, a province in Thailand. It is known as a significant place for casinos. As it has a large borderline, Thai products are shipped through it daily. An industrial estate was established in Poipet district by the Cambodian government to attract more foreign investors with some benefits that Thailand does not provide. Also, Infrastructure has been built and, there is also adequate cheap labour to support manufacturing. Poipet can also link the economic corridor from the south of Thailand to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

We have more than 30 years of experience of investment in Cambodia, providing us with ample experience in importing Thai brands into Cambodia, helping us to understand Cambodian culture, building connections with important Cambodian partners, and providing us with a 600 strong experienced management team and staff.

Cambodia Malls' vision is made of three parts:

  1. Expanding Thai brands and markets
Cambodian consumers have a liking of Thai commodities and familiarity. They trust in the quality of Thai products compared to Chinese ones.
  2. Building Thai community’s strength
We want to strengthen Thai manufacturing and make it ready for international expansion, including to Cambodia through Poipet, in order to connect Thailand to Vietnam through Cambodia.
  3. Creating Thai millionaires in the Cambodian market
The economy in Poipet, Cambodia, has grown rapidly due to substantial international investment, such as China and Japan. This is because investment in Cambodia does not require high capital but can still get a high return.
